The country never tasted so good! Amherstburg Farmer's market is kicking off their 3rd season . Come out and visit and meet the farmers that grow your food and join in the festivities! 8:30 to 1:30 pm every Saturday. Visit the Doll Museum inside with 100's of dolls and costumes. MAY 19:
• Opening Day
• Sarah Parks Horsemanship – horse rides for kids
• Enter to win a Farmer’s Market Basket – winner will be drawn at 12:00 noon
• Music
• Free plant plug to first 100 visitors (tentative)

MAY 26:
• Berry Jam
• Crafts for kids
• Strawberry treats
• Face painting
• Vendors with strawberries and strawberry-based products will be highlighted

JUNE 2:
• Living Well in Our Community
• Early morning yoga session with Love It Yoga (outside)
• “Live Your Best Life” workshop with Wellness and Active Living Coach Jen Wentzlaf (lower level of Community Center)
• Get moving with Lauren Brush from Simply For You Fitness (outside)

JUNE 9:
• Computers for Kids
• Donate your used computer equipment
• Sponsored and supported by Harrow Rotary Club
JUNE 10 (SUNDAY):
• Downtown Farmer’s Market and Culture Fair
• Ramsay St., Amherstburg
• 9 am to 2 pm
• Fresh produce, baked goods, handiwork and crafts – all grown and produced locally
• Live entertainment
• Amherstburg’s original market site comes back to life!

JUNE 16:
• Date is available – checking with square dancers/fiddlers

• Date is available – checking with square dancers/fiddlers

JUNE 30:
• Happy Birthday Canada!
• Celebrate Canada’s birthday with us – free treats!

• Local Voices (this event is booked, this date is tentative)

JULY 21:
• “At Home in the Country” 1812 Picnic
• Picnic lunches available
• Tables and blankets in the picnic area
• Costumed assistants to visit and serve
• Dennis White will sign/sell his book
• Period-appropriate music

JULY 28:
• Blueberries!
• Treats and crafts
• Face painting

AUGUST 4:
• Roots to Boots Festival – Amherstburg
• Event schedules and advertising for this Commemorative weekend will be available at the market

AUGUST 11:
• Pepper Festival
• Special items created by food vendors based on local peppers
• Pepper vendors will be highlighted
• Possible partnership with WindsorEats to host a culinary demo
• Entertainment by Belly Dance Essex outside
