Get ready to paint the town red and white as Amherstburg transforms into a hub of activity, celebration, and Canadian pride on Wednesday, July 1.

Start the morning with the Canada Day 5K, then enjoy a day of activities throughout downtown, including , food trucks, Mighty Machines, face painting, recreation activities, free cupcakes, soccer fun, dance performances, and heritage demonstrations at Fort Malden.

The celebration continues into the evening with a live concert in King's Navy Yard Park, followed by a fireworks finale over the Detroit River.
