Cloudpermit

Cloudpermit is a cloud-based software platform designed to streamline and digitize the building permitting, planning, and code enforcement processes for municipalities. It allows homeowners, contractors, and Town officials to apply for, review, and manage permits online, reducing paperwork and speeding up approval times.

This year the Town of Amherstburg is fully transitioning to our Cloudpermit Software and will be limiting in person or email applications. It is possible to discuss your project and confirm that it meets our Zoning By-law, Building Code and application requirements by email or phone call. It is recommended that you meet with a Registered Designer that has a BCIN (Building Code Identification Number) or for more extensive projects an Architect or Engineer. If you apply via Cloudpermit, you will receive email updates of the progress of your application and you can download your permit all digitally, saving you time! Online payment option will be coming soon.
