Boards and Committees

Serving on a municipal committee or board is a way to be involved and to help make a difference in your community. Committee and board members provide advice to Council on different issues and help contribute to the development of policies, programs and initiatives that improve your community.

If you are interested in serving on one of the Town's committees or boards, please check our Vacancies page.

The following is a list of the Town of Amherstburg's committees and boards:

Conflict of Interest Registry

Changes to the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act require municipalities to maintain a registry of all declarations made under this Act. The registry must include the original written declaration provided by the member and must be available to the public.

View the Online Registry.

The original registry including the forms submitted by members and excerpts from the minutes are available for public inspection at Town Hall located at 271 Sandwich Street South, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Additional details can be obtained from the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act, R.S.O. 1990, C.M.50.
